Mission
Green Demolition & Recycling has as it's mission, to increase recycling of demolition materials beyond 95% and to reduce carbon emissions whilst undertaking all demolition projects.
We have identified that the majority of demolition contractors recycle higher value items such as metals, slates, bricks, architectural pieces, timber and masonry but do not always look to recycle UPVC, glass, plastics and furniture items, all of which can be recycled and will reduce waste to landfill in accordance with current government targets of halving waste to landfill by 2012.
It is our intention, wherever reasonably practicable, to recycle these lower value items during demolition and continue to improve on our already significant recycling percentages.
We intend to investigate all outlets for our materials and will concentrate on those companies that are closest to our sites to reduce the number of vehicle movements and thus reduce our carbon footprint. This reduction in traffic coupled with our use of fuel efficient machinery will allow us to demolish buildings and structures throughout the South East at competitive prices, efficiently and safely.
Safety
Green Demolition & Recycling are committed to carrying out all works in accordance with all current legislation with a fully trained demolition workforce, all of whom hold CSCS/CPCS/CCDO cards and are trained to the highest industry standard, carry out their duties. All of our sites are audited on a regular basis by our external H&S consultants to ensure compliance with company procedures and all current legislation and our “hands on”management style ensures that all of our client's requirements and expectations are exceeded. We believe that a highly trained workforce is a safe workforce.
Contracts
With our range of company owned plant and directly employed labour we are able to undertake demolition works from £1000 to £250000 in all areas of the UK but we believe that with our local knowledge we are particularly competitive in the South East. We welcome opportunities to submit tenders for works of all types and size and we will, as always, respond to tender requests promptly.
Management
Our Managing Director Ryan Lee has had many years experience as a contracts manager on major demolition projects throughout the UK before launching Green Demolition and Recycling Ltd and his experience will allow the company to rapidly become the first choice provider of demolition services to many clients in the South East.
